I’ve been in the hair industry since I was sixteen — I started off shampooing, worked my way up to having my own chair, and eventually became a 4X Goldwell Master Colorist and extension specialist. For years, I poured every ounce of myself into my clients — long days, double-booked schedules, and the constant chase to keep up with trends.

Then came the pandemic.
The world stopped — and so did I.

Like so many of us, I suddenly had no income, no clients, and no sense of direction. But looking back, that pause was the turning point I didn’t know I needed. I was burnt out, exhausted, and questioning what was next. For the first time, I had space to reflect — and I realized that the conversations happening behind my chair were never really about color formulas or extensions.

They were about hair loss, thinning, and scalp concerns — the things my clients whispered about when no one else was listening.

That’s when I knew my path had to change.

I became certified in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) — a non-invasive solution that mimics natural follicles to create the look of density and fullness. From there, my passion expanded. I dove headfirst into trichology, the clinical study of hair and scalp health, and began developing what would become ManeInk Hair Loss Solutions — a full hair loss clinic and holistic scalp spa in New York.

Today, my work bridges the gap between healthcare and haircare, giving clients real answers, not just cover-ups. And now, I’m on a mission to educate and empower beauty professionals to do the same — to help stylists implement hair loss solutions behind the chair so they can transform their clients’ confidence and their own careers.
